• The Rubiales Pb-Zn orebody is the result of the union of two factors which control the precipitation of sulphur and the ankeritic-quartz gange that accompany them. Structural control: Intersection between an F2 shear zone and a longitudinal fault system F2-F3. Lithological Control: Existence within the Transition Series of limestone beds, permeable and reactive with the mineralizing fluids.
