    This article proposes an accurate analysis, which pays particular attention to the editorial and literary aspect, of the letters that the publisher Ugo Guanda sent to Oreste Macrì between 1938 and 1959, and to Pier Paolo Pasolini between 1952 and 1958. These exchanges provide information about the activities of the publisher and, in particular, about the collection of poetical anthologies «Fenice», founded in 1939 and edited by the poet Attilio Bertolucci.

    Il presente articolo propone un’analisi, attenta al dato editoriale e storico-letterario, delle lettere che l’editore Ugo Guanda indirizzò a Oreste Macrì tra il 1938 e il 1959 e a Pier Paolo Pasolini tra il 1952 e il 1958. I due carteggi forniscono notizie sull’attività dell’editore ed in particolare sulla collana di antologie poetiche «Fenice», fondata nel 1939 e diretta dal poeta Attilio Bertolucci.
