Resumen de Elaboraciòn de un acaricida natural a base de aceite esencial de ruta graveolens para el control de varroasis (varroa jocobsoni oudemans) en abejas (apis mellifera)

La varroasis es una enfermedad parasitaria de las abejas (Apis mellifera L) que es provocada por el ácaro Varroa, afecta tanto a la cría como adultos; que conlleva a generar pérdidas económicas a los apicultores. Se evaluó el aceite esencial de Ruta graveolens en el control de Varroasis y su impacto en la producción de miel en la zona, se valoraron dos tratamientos al (40% y 50%) utilizando cethiol como excipiente de concentración de aceite esencial de Ruta graveolens en diez colmenas dividas en dos grupos experimentales, cada colmena representa una unidad experimental. El análisis se realizó en tres fases: la primera para reforzar la alimentación en todas las colmenas logrando homogenizar la población, la segunda para determinar el porcentaje de infestación en el apiario, y la tercera se analizaron los resultados obtenidos al final de la investigación para determinar qué tratamiento tenía mayor efectividad. El tratamiento 1 inicio con un promedio de infestación de 12,1% y el tratamiento 2 con 16,1%; luego de la última aplicación el tratamiento 1 bajo a 5,77% y el tratamiento 2 a 2,77%. El tratamiento 2 tuvo una efectividad el 82,79%. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el diseño experimental de bloques al azar con 2 tratamiento y 4 aplicaciones. La rentabilidad del aceite esencial de Ruta graveolens, es favorable para los apicultores de la zona, a pesar de ser costoso el tratamiento, pero es eficaz, inocuo y no afecta a los productos de la colmena. Además, se lo puede aplicar en cualquier época del año.
