Resumen de La creazione nella cosmologia contemporanea

Juan José Sanguineti

  • Contemporary scientific cosmology seems to have tackled the problem of the cosmic creation out of nothing, notwithstanding the weight of traditional conservative principles. It is shown that the standard Big Bang cosmological theory caused some scientists to sustain the fact of a metaphysical creation, so long as a philosophical argument be added. Secondly, it is argued that the so-called 'quantum creation cosmological models' are not concerned with a real creation in the sense of an absolute nothing, nor are they incompatible with divine creation, which is independent of a temporal beginning. In any case, the experience of temporality in science is a strong psychological basis for the most radical metaphysical questions.
