  A pesar de que es asumido que los valores con ratios más bajos son valores baratos y deben tener un mejor rendimiento que el mercado la “gestion value” ha tenido problemas para batir al mercado sistemáticamente. En este estudio pretendemos identificar si la inteligencia artificial puede ser una herramienta útil en la “gestión value” y puede identificar qué valores o carteras van a batir al mercado. Con este propósito se han realizado diferentes entrenamientos de un modelo de inteligencia artificial que utiliza las ratios como predictores, mientras que la variable objetivo toma los valores “bate/no bate” al mercado. Los resultados obtenidos para el Mercado Español y Americano muestran que la capacidad predictiva del modelo supera el 60% de tasa de acierto y que una cartera diseñada por un sistema experto basado en inteligencia artificial es capaz de batir al Ibex 35. Por lo tanto, la inteligencia artificial es una herramienta útil para la gestión de activos con perfil value, ya sea como herramienta para ayudar en la investigación del analista o como motor de un sistema experto que diseñe carteras con el objetivo de batir al mercado.

  Although it is assumed that the securities with lower ratios are cheaper and should perform better than the market, "value investment" has not being able to beat the market. In this study, we try to identify if artificial intelligence can be a useful tool in "value investment" and can identify which securities or portfolios are going to beat the market.

  For this purpose, different trainings have been carried out on an artificial intelligence model that uses ratios as predictors, while the target variable takes the values "beat /don't beat" the market. The results obtained for the Spanish and American market show that the predictive capacity of the model exceeds 60% and that a portfolio designed by an expert system based on artificial intelligence is able of beating Ibex 35. Therefore, artificial intelligence is a useful tool for managing assets with a value profile, either as a tool to aid the analyst's research or as the engine of an expert system that designs portfolios with the aim of beating the market.
