Las resoluciones sancionadoras más destacables en 2020

    Segundo año de aplicación del RGPD y en consecuencia, de ejercicio de la potestad sancionadora por las autoridades de control ajustándose a las nuevas reglas recogidas en la norma europea, que incluye no sólo unas cuantías superiores de multas a imponer, sino también la posibilidad de aplicar otras figuras como la advertencia o el apercibimiento. En este artículo recopilamos las resoluciones, tanto aquellas en las que se han impuesto multas como apercibimientos, e incluso resoluciones de archivo, que desde nuestro punto de vista han sido más relevantes. Para ello, en algunos casos hemos agrupado resoluciones por áreas temáticas, como sería por ejemplo el supuesto de las que han afectado al no nombramiento de delegados de protección de datos cuando era preceptivo, y en otras, nos referiremos directamente a determinadas resoluciones que han sido más llamativas.

    The second year of implementation of the GDPR and, consequently, the exercise of the power to impose penalties by the supervisory authorities in line with the new rules set out in the European standard, which includes not only higher amounts of fines to be imposed, but also the possibility of applying other figures such as warning or warning. In this article we collect the resolutions, both those in which fines have been imposed, and even file resolutions, which in our view have been more relevant. To this end, in some chaos we have grouped resolutions into thematic areas, such as those that have affected the non-appointment of data protection delegates when it was mandatory, and in others, we will refer directly to certain resolutions that have been most striking.
