Resumen de El subtitulado para personas sordas en Youtube: una aproximación a su estudio

  Este trabajo se articula en torno al análisis lingüístico del subtitulado para sordos y, más en concreto, al de YouTube: queremos acercarnos a la realidad de dicho subtitulado para intentar ayudar al mismo (si hiciera falta), ofreciendo soluciones a los posibles problemas.

  El estudio del subtitulado es una disciplina reciente, pero ha alcanzado una gran popularidad durante el siglo XXI y, hoy en día, se hace absolutamente indispensable en un contexto en el que cada vez hay más personas con discapacidad auditiva que necesitan de él.

  La necesidad de definir nuevos criterios de subtitulación que mejoren la comprensión de los programas es la principal implicación que se deriva de nuestro trabajo.

  This work is articulated around the linguistic analysis of subtitling for the deaf and, more specifically, YouTube: we want to approach the reality of this subtitling to try to help it (if necessary), offering solutions to the possible problems.

  The study of subtitling is a recent discipline, but it has achieved great popularity during the 21st century and, today, it becomes absolutely indispensable in a context in which more and more people with hearing impaired who need it.

  The need to define new subtitling criteria that improve the understanding of the programs is the main implication that derives from our work.
