Y el cuerpo no siempre es perfecto

    El ejercicio profesional enfermero se fundamenta en valores humanísticos que mas tarde cristalizarán en intervenciones de suplencia y ayuda. De esta premisa surge la necesaria contemplación del cuerpo humano y se deriva nuestro interés por estudiar reacciones que generan la imagen del cuerpo humano tullido. Objetivo: conocer el impacto, sentimientos, impresiones, que produce en el estudiante de enfermería de primer curso, la contemplación del cuerpo humano en su belleza imperfecta. Metodología: diseño cualitativo, técnica de entrevista semidirigida, estandarizada abierta, libre y espontánea y focalizada, centrada en un tema. Los datos se obtienen mediante encuesta anónima. Resultados: Las aportaciones realizadas por los estudiantes, son: La concepción social del representado que anda con las manos, la definen como pobre, abandonado. Identificaron tacos y cayados como símbolo limitación de movimiento, no tienen muletas ni carros. Distinguieron imagen femenina como la única que intenta hacer algo efectivo y real, ayudarles, agarrarles, apoyarles. Confesaron movimiento de compromiso, reflexión, voluntariado, responsabilidad. Expresaron angustia, soledad, lástima, esfuerzo, agitación, necesidad. Conclusiones: Las respuestas intuitivas y empíricas, generadas por lectura de imágenes en relación con el cuerpo humano, pueden suponer método directo de aprendizaje de cuidados culturales. Parece confirmarse hipótesis la visión de imperfección en cuerpo humano produce ambivalencia entre rechazo al que la padece y humanidad hacia su defecto

    The professional practice of nursing is based on humanistic values, which will later be manifested on interventions of help and substitution. It is from this premise that the need arises for the observation of the human body and hence our interest in the study of the reaction to the image of the crippled human body. Objective: To find out the impact, feelings, and impressions caused in the First Year Nursing student by the human body in its imperfect beauty. Method: Qualitative design, supervised interviewing techniques, open standard, free and spontaneous, focused and well balanced within a subject. All data has been collected through anonymous questionnaires. Results: The students determined the social significance of the image represented walking with his hands as poor and abandoned. They identified the wooden cubes and walking sticks as a symbol of the limitation of movement; they do not have crutches or wheelchairs. They distinguished the female image as they only one who is trying to do something real and effective, to help them, to hold them and to support them. They confessed a movement of compromise, reflection, willingness and responsibility. They expressed anguish, loneliness, pity, effort, agitation and need. Conclusions: The empirical and intuitive answers generated by the reading of images in relation to the human body may suppose a direct learning method of cultural care. The observation of the imperfect human body causes ambivalence between rejection of the sufferer and humanity towards its defect
