Resumen de Vico y el descubrimiento del conocimiento histórico

  El autor repropone aquí, por dos razones, el esbozo de una interpretación de la filosofía de Vico. Una razón, la de destacar el trabajo historiográfico de las ediciones críticas de las tres Scienza nuova (1725, 1730, 1744); y el otro motivo es la idea viquiana de la filología como ciencia: ciencia ética del comprender y no solamente instrumento ecdótico: razonar qué hace Vico en sus textos, para comprenderlos y así intentar comprender el significado que tuvo en su época y el papel que puede tener en la filosofía contemporánea.

  For two reasons the Author proposes an interpretation of Vico’s philosophy: 1) One reason is to highlight the historiographical work of the critical editions of the three New Science (1725, 1733, 1744). 2) The other reason is the Vichian idea of philology as a science: an ethical science of understanding and not only an ecdotic instrument; of reasoning what Vico does in his texts, in order to understand them and thus try to understand the meaning that those texts had in his own time. In addition, also try to understand the role it can have in contemporary philosophy.
