Una revisión del concepto «guerra híbrida/actor híbrido»

    Los medios occidentales popularizaron el concepto «guerra híbrida» en 2014 tras la intervención rusa en el este de Ucrania y la posterior anexión de la península de Crimea.

    Sin embargo, desde la última década del siglo XX, se mantiene abierto un intenso debate entre dos posturas conceptuales enfrentadas alimentadas tanto por la imprecisión del término como por su empleo expansivo. Por ello, consideramos oportuno ofrecer un marco más restrictivo del concepto, ya que este solo adquiere su significado en relación con su actor protagonista. Este actor es el Estado revisionista del sistema internacional en el marco de una gran estrategia (híbrida) multidominio.

    The Western media popularised the concept of the Hybrid War in 2014, following the Russian intervention in the east of Ukraine and the subsequent annexation of the Crimean Peninsula. However, since the last decade of the twentieth century an intense debate has been going on between two opposing conceptual positions; both the imprecision of the term and its expansive use have contributed to this. Therefore, we consider it appropriate to provide a more restrictive framework for the concept, since it only acquires its meaning in relation to its main actor. Such actor is the revisionist state of the International System in the framework of a long scope (hybrid) multi-domain strategy.
