  Las elecciones del 3 de noviembre dieron el triunfo al candidato demócrata, Joe Biden, aunque no con la contundencia que señalaban los sondeos, lo que pone de manifiesto el peso específico del «trumpismo» en el país. Además, el Partido Demócrata mantiene su hegemonía en la Cámara de Representantes, aunque ha retrocedido en escaños, pero por ahora no ha logrado arrebatarle el Senado al Partido Republicano, a la espera de que se celebre una segunda vuelta en el estado de Georgia.

  The democratic candidate Joe Biden won the elections on November 3, but he did not beat Trump with the advantage predicted by the polls, which highlights the strong weight «Trumpism» still has in the country. The Democratic Party keeps its hegemony in the House of Representatives, though it has fallen back in seats and its fighting for the majority in the Senate. This will be known on January 5 after the election in Georgia.
