    En aquest article presentem els treballs de conservació-restauració de les estructures arqueològiques del recinte superior del Castell de Xivert portades a terme pel nostre equip durant les campanyes dels anys 2008, 2013, 2014 i 2016. Aquests treballs es van realitzar en col·laboració amb l’equip del Servei d’Investigacions Prehistòriques i Arqueològiques de la Diputació de Castelló. Neus Arquer es va encarregar de la redacció del pla d’actuació i junt amb Ferran Falomir de la direcció tècnica. Es tracta d’estructures de diferent cronologia que van des de les restes d’un poblat del Ferro antic fins a les medievals.

    Per altra banda, volem posar de manifest la necessitat de continuar amb el procés de museïtzació del monument per a facilitar l’accessibilitat al públic, com a eina indispensable per la valoració i conservació del patrimoni històric.

    In this article we present the conservation-restoration works of the archaeological structures of the upper enclosure of the Xivert Castle carried out by our team during the campaigns of the years 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2016. These works were carried out in collaboration with the team of the Prehistoric and Archaeological Research Service of the Castellón Provincial Government, which directs the archaeological work. Neus Arquer was in charge of writing the action plan and together with Ferran Falomir from the technical management.

    These are structures of different chronology ranging from the remains of an Old Iron town to the medieval ones.

    On the other hand, we want to highlight the need to continue with the process of musealization of the monument to facilitate accessibility to the public, as an indispensable tool for the valuation and conservation of historical heritage.
