In the text there analyzes the evolution of the property of the land in the Delta of the Ebrobetween middle of the 12th century and the introduction of the culture of the rice (1860’s in the right hemidelta; 1910’s in the left hemidelta). The process relates to the natural, economic, demographic and social conditions that prevailed in this zone along everything of the period. Three groups are distinguished for what concerns to the origin of the property: the small property based on the aprisio; the big properties originated in feudal grants; and the grants of the Royal Patrimony (from the 15th century). Every group presents a peculiar evolution that ends in a two-pole structure based on the great property and the small property.

El text analitza l’evolució de la propietat de la terra al delta de l’Ebre des de meitat segle XII fins la introducció del conreu de l’arròs (1860’s a l’hemidelta dret; 1910’s a l’hemidelta esquerre). Aquest procés es relaciona amb les condicions naturals, econòmiques, demogràfiques i socials que predominaren en aquesta zona al llarg del període. Es distingeixen tres grups pel que fa a l’origen de la propietat: la petita propietat pagesa basada en la pràctica de l’aprisió; les grans propietats territorials, originades en concessions feudals de meitat del segle XII; i les concessions del Reial Patrimoni registrades a partir del segle XV. Cada grup té una evolució peculiar que desemboca en una estructura bipolaritzada entre la petita i gran propietat.
