    Dentro del proyecto denominado “Salvanés - Tierra de frontera”, en 2017 se desarrolló una campaña de investigación arqueológica en la ermita de San Pedro y en el despoblado medieval de Salvanés. Los objetivos científicos de esta primera campaña se centraron en la realización de un estudio de la documentación histórica existente, pero también en el estudio directo de algunas partes significativas de la construcción más evidente del yacimiento, es decir, la que fue Iglesia Parroquial de la aldea de Salvanés entre los siglos XII y XIV y posteriormente ermita aislada hasta la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, cuando se inició su ruina.

    Within the project called “Salvanés - Tierra de frontera”, in 2017 an archaeological research campaign was developed in the hermitage of San Pedro and in the medieval village of Salvanés.
