Resumen de Crítica del lenguaje y emancipación política en Contorno (1953-1959)

La revista literaria y política Contorno (1953-1959) se convirtió con el paso del tiempo en una referencia para la crítica literaria. Sus organizadores entraron a formar parte del canon de autores frecuentados por la siguiente generación. Su fama certera se debió a la habilidad para identificar viejos temas bajo abordajes novedosos que encontraron eco en las generaciones que les siguieron. Aquí tratamos la importancia y el sentido que tuvieron las afirmaciones sobre el lenguaje que se emitieron desde su páginas como un camino hacia la necesaria emancipación política. Analizamos las relaciones establecidas entre lengua, política y literatura a través de las principales observaciones emitidas en la revista y las situamos en las coordenadas espacio temporales por las que la publicación atravesaba durante los años de actividad entendidas como un reflejo de la realidad lingüística y política argentina del momento.

The literary and political magazine Contorno (1953-1959) became, over time, a reference for literary criticism. The organizers became part of the canon of authors who would be followed by the next generation. Their fame was due to the ability to identify old issues under new approaches that found echo in the coming generations. Therefore, we discuss the importance and meaning of the affirmations about language that wereissued from its pages as a way to the necessary political emancipation. We analyze the relations established between language, politics and literature by way of the main observations emitted in the magazine, within a time and space coordinationin which they were published during the years of activity, understood as a reflection of the Argentine linguistic and political reality of that moment.
