Resumen de Propuesta de rutas turísticas alternativas en el Ecuador Continental

El presente trabajo nació del interés académico de complementar los conocimientos teóricos aprendidos en el aula, con los conocimientos prácticos obtenidos en el trabajo de campo (giras académicas), a través del levantamiento de información primaria y secundaria; en este caso en particular, nació como un proyecto formativo en la carrera de Turismo de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. Se trabajó con 13 paralelos distribuidos en los 9 ciclos académicos de la carrera, con un total de 366 estudiantes y 13 docentes tutores. Se empleó como metodología para el presente proyecto de investigación el Manual Generación de Rutas e Itinerarios Turísticos del Ministerio de Turismo del Ecuador, identificando, categorizando, georeferenciando, mapeando y describiendo 194 atractivos turísticos, y proponiendo 9 rutas turísticas alternas con su respectivo itinerario turístico y mapas de rutas alternas recorridas en el Ecuador Continental, ofreciendo tanto a los turistas nacionales como a los turistas internacionales nuevas alternativas para hacer turismo en el país.

The present work was born from the academic interest of complementing the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom, with the practical knowledge obtained in the field work (academic tours), through the gathering of primary and secondary information; in this case, was born as a training project in the Tourism career of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. We worked with 13 parallels distributed in the 9 academic cycles of the race, with a total of 366 students and 13 tutors. The Manual of Generation of Tourist Routes and Itineraries of the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador was used as methodology for the present research project, identifying, categorizing, georeferencing, mapping and describing 194 tourist attractions, and proposing 9 alternative tourist routes with their respective tourist itinerary and Maps of alternate routes traveled in the Continental Ecuador, offering both national tourists and international tourists new alternatives for tourism in the country.
