Resumen de School Broadcasting on Radio in the Seventies

C. Armour

  • BBC educational broadcasting celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year. From the beginning the aim has been to provide material which would hold the attention of listeners, be ducationally satisfying and stimulate thought, assuming always that broadcasts would be heard in the presence of and with the active participation of teachers. Continually producers attempt to align their series of programs with changes in educational thought and practice providing, where necessary, support materials beyond the customary teacher's notes and pupil's pamphlets. The article treats the particular qualities and potentialities of the radio medium, considers radiovision and concludes with a look at some areas of development.
