Las teorías del texto en las hermenéuticas de H.-G. Gadamer y P. Ricoeur

    En este artículo se abordan las maneras de concebir la lectura de un texto en dos insignes representantes de la hermenéutica fi losófi ca: Hans-Georg Gadamer y Paul Ricoeur, con el fi n de realizar paralelos y diferencias entre ellas que posibiliten una mayor comprensión de sus respectivas teorías del texto, y permitan establecer criterios de orientación para abordar la lectura de textos en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, tanto de la fi losofía misma, como en el de otras disciplinas interesadas en el desarrollo de la praxis interpretativo-comprensiva.Los elementos que se van a desarrollar pondrán de presente que la hermenéutica en Gadamer es más que un método, porque su fundamento es la estructura hermenéutica de la experiencia del mundo, y de allí parte su teoría del texto, como acto de conversación; mientras que para Ricoeur, por el contrario, no existe tal diálogo, al considerar que la escritura crea su propia audiencia virtualmente extendida a cualquiera que sepa leer, y son las lecturas las que lo descontextualizan y recontextualizan, siendo más bien el texto un objeto lingüístico que requiere ser abordado con distancia refl exiva para ser comprendido.

    This article addresses the ways of conceiving the reading of a text acording to two distinguished representatives of philosophical hermeneutics: Hans-Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur, in order to make parallels and differences between them, that allow a better understanding of their respective theories of the text, and to establish criteria for guidance in addressing the reading of texts in the teaching-learning processes as in the philosophy, as in the other disciplines involved in the development of interpretive praxis-understanding.The elements that will be developed here will show that Gadamer’s hermeneutics is more than a method, because its foundation is the structure of hermeneutics of world experience, and from there his theory of the text develops itself, as an act of conversation. While for Ricoeur, however, there is no such dialogue, considering that writing creates its own audience virtually extended to anyone who can read, and the readings are the ones that decontextualized it and recontextualized it, being a text an object of language that requires be dealt with refl exive distance to be understood
