  • Cysts lined with gastrointestinal or respiratory epithelium are rarely found in the oral cavity. These lesions usually involve the ventral surface of the tongue or floor of the mouth. This article describes a new case of a lingual cyst lined by respiratory epithelium, discussing its clinical relevance, surgical management, and ideal time for intervention.
