    • Smart mobility is one dimension of the smart city concept and refers to mobility management in a smart city, transporting city inhabitants by meeting their daily mobility needs. A smart mobility example is to promote and encourage more people to ride on bikes. “U-Bike IPBeja” project aims to promote mobility and cycling in the city. To accomplish U-Bike IPBeja goals, an information system was developed to handle the project activities. The bike users have a mobile app software to control the bike activities. This paper presents a qualitative study of the U-Bike system to analyse the users’ perceptions and opinions relatively to the pair App+Bike usage. To accomplish this, two focus group were applied to a representative sample of users to find the level of user experience, i.e. if the system provides comfort, trust and the intended information. The results were very important to propose improvements regarding user experience goals.
