Resumen de Tendencias de investigación científica en la capacidad de carga turística

  El estado del conocimiento científico permite evaluar las tendencias, sus áreas de aplicación práctica y las necesidades de investigación en áreas determinadas, lo cual constituye un aspecto básico del avance del conocimiento. Por lo mismo, el objetivo fue evaluar artículos científicos vinculados al tema de capacidad de carga turística en áreas naturales protegidas. El método aplicado fue la selección de publicaciones en revistas científicas SCIMAGO en un rango de 2013 a 2018, con base en las primeras posiciones: Tourism Management y Tourism Management Perspectives. La evolución del concepto de capacidad de carga se dividió en dos etapas, la primera etapa se comprende del 2012 a principios del 2015 y la segunda etapa inicia a finales del 2015 a la fecha. Como resultado, se identificaron las principales variables abordados en dichos artículos: nivel de hacinamiento, percepción de hacinamiento, nivel de satisfacción y número de visitantes.

  The state of scientific knowledge makes it possible to assess trends, their areas of practical application and research needs in specific areas, which is a basic aspect of the advancement of knowledge. For the same reason, the objective was to evaluate scientific articles related to the issue of tourist carrying capacity in protected natural areas. The method applied was the selection of publications in scientific journals SCIMAGO in a range from 2013 to 2018, based on the first positions: Tourism Management and Tourism Management Perspectives. The evolution of the concept of carrying capacity was divided into two stages, the first stage is from 2012 to the beginning of 2015 and the second stage starts at the end of 2015 to date. As a result, the main variables addressed in these articles were identified: level of overcrowding, perception of overcrowding, level of satisfaction and number of visitors.
