Resumen de Typographic Cueing as an Aid to Learning from Typewritten Text

Peter Coles, Jeremy Foster

  • Typographic cueing refers to the use of typography to distinguish different kinds of content in printed information. Experiments are reported in which the effect of providing cueing systems on the amount learned by readers was investigated. The results indicated that a cued text studied for a brief period yielded significantly higher scores on a test of immediate comprehension when readers were instructed to use the SQ3R study method.
