  • Resumen
    • In the 21st century, English and technology have become basic skills necessary for the formation of a successful member in society. In Chile, different studies have demonstrated that both necessary skills are at a low level. (EF-EPI, 2016;

      ENLACES, 2013) Additionally, many online resources are available for language learning, but there are no existent online resources for Chilean elementary students to continue self-study work at home. Most parents find it difficult to help their child in English, for they do not obtain pedagogical studying techniques knowledge or ICT skills to help them find resources online. The English program, Ingles abre puertas (PIAP), does not propose any projects for parents of EFL students or Online resources for them to help their child in English. MINEDUC (n.d.) Thus, the following project aims to implement a customized online website for Chilean English as a foreign language (EFL) students and their parents to provide educational resources that help practice a wide range of linguistic skills, through didactic strategies in Antilen school of Rengo, Chile. The final results of the project showed that the students attained better learning outcomes, developed better attitudes toward their learning experiences, and devoted more effort in the learning process.

      In conclusion, the project successfully accomplished its main objective and can easily be duplicated in different Chilean establishments.
