Veinte años de teoría: Canon, pensamiento literario e historiografía

    La cuestión del canon se halla en la génesis de las que han sido las líneas de pensamiento del grupo en los últimos veinte años. La constatación de su carácter histórico así como de la intervención de distintas esferas del polisistema literario en la determinación del objeto literario mismo o del decisivo papel de las instituciones y los distintos agentes culturales en su conformación va a desembocar en las líneas de investigación transitadas seguidamente. El segundo centro de interés viene constituido por el estudio de las ideas literarias, del llamado género secundario, esto es, del pensamiento que ha despertado la literatura. Dos serán los hitos fundamentales dentro de este objeto de estudio: de una parte, la Historia de las ideas literarias (1214-2010) (2011) que comporta el número octavo de la Historia de la literatura de Mainer, y, de otra, el monográfico titulado Pensamiento y crítica literaria en el siglo XX (castellano, catalán, euskera, gallego) publicado en cátedra en 2019 como resultado principal del Proyecto de Investigación “Las ideas literarias en la España del siglo xx (castellano, catalán, euskera y gallego)” (FFI2013-44011-P). El tercer gran lugar que ha despertado nuestra atención dentro de las tradiciones teóricas recorridas por el equipo ha sido el estudio de la historiografía literaria. El desarrollo de esta línea de investigación adquiere su cauce en el Proyecto de Investigación financiado por el ministerio, titulado “La historiografía literaria en la España de los siglos xix y xx (castellano, catalán, eusquera y gallego)” (FFI2017-82955-P).

    The problem of canon is located in the genesis of the lines of thought of the group in the last twenty years. The verification of its historic character, the intervention of different spheres of literary polysystem in the determination of the literary object or the decisive role of the institutions and the different cultural agents in its conformation were studied in these years. The second focus of interest is constituted by the study of literary ideas, the secondary genre, that is, the thought created by literature. The History of Literary Ideas (1214-2010)—the eighth volume of the History of Literature edited by Mainer—and and the monograph entitled Thought and literary criticism in the 20th century (Castillian, Catalan, Basque, Galician Language) published by Cátedra in 2019 as the main outcome of the Research Project “Literary Ideas in the Literature of twentieth Century Spain (Castillian, Catalan, Basque, Galician)” (FFI2013-44011-P) will be two fundamental milestones in this field. The third center of our interest has been the study of literary historiography. The development of this research line acquires its place in the Research Project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science, entlited “Literary Historiography of nineteenth and twentieth Century Spain (Castilian, Catalan, Basque, Galician)” (FFI2017-82955-P).
