La ‘descriptio puellae’ en el ‘Curial e Güelfa’

    L’estudi remarca el protagonisme dels personatges femenins en la novel·la Curial e Güelfa, mitjançant l’anàlisi de la descriptio superficialis i de la fenomenologia de les passions, identificadores del perfil de Güelfa, Laquesis i Camar. Després de l’anàlisi lingüística dels passatges més representatius del modus describendi de l’autor, es proposa una nova interpretació del Curial e Güelfa, que reconsidera l’estatus de protagonista de Curial, fent emergir la centralitat de Güelfa, Laquesis i Camar. L’honor (Güelfa), la bellesa (Laquesis) i la mort (Camar) esdevenen, així, les paraules clau amb què llegir la novel·la des d’una nova perspectiva.

    The study highlights the protagonism of the female characters in the novel Curial e Güelfa, through the analysis of the descriptio superficialis and of the phenomenology of passions, that identify the profiles of Güelfa, Laquesis and Camar. Following the linguistic analysis of the most representative pieces of the modus describendi of the author, a new interpretation of Curial e Güelfa is proposed, that reduces the status of main character of Curial, bringing out the centrality of Güelfa, Laquesis and Camar. Honor (Güelfa), bellesa (Laquesis) and mort (Camar) become the key words to read the novel from a new perspective.
