    Tres historiadores —Xavier Domènech Sampere, Javier Moreno Luzón y Joan-Pau Rubiés— y la socióloga Mariona Lladonosa debaten el contexto histórico del procés soberanista (o independentista) de Catalunya. Las interpretaciones que ofrecen los participantes no son independientes de sus inclinaciones políticas y sus especialidades temporales y temáticas. Sin embargo, su oficio compartido de historiador (y socióloga histórica) les permite llegar a un cierto consenso al final.

    Three historians —Xavier Domènech Sampere, Javier Moreno Luzón and Joan-Pau Rubiés— and the sociologist Mariona Lladonosa debate the historical context of the «process toward the sovereignty (or independence) of Catalonia». The participants’ interpretations are not independent from their political inclinations or thematic and period expertise. All the same, their shared calling as historians and historical sociologists lead them toward some important points of consensus at the end.
