Resumen de Sobre o Lugar Expositivo - um olhar crítico sobre os espaços de exposição de arte contemporânea em Porto Alegre

  Institutions dedicated to the functions of museum or exhibition, as well as the entire cultural system, has seen the growing interest of contemporary society and market on the product Art Exhibition. This art appears and spreads; it reaches the desired visibility in the media and the cultural circuit in most cases within the institutions, even when they occur also in alternative locations in the art scene. This paper proposes a reflection on the role of institutions and places of art in this context and attempts to establish the relationship between the final product Exhibition, and the desired and assigned symbolic values, the artists, the works of contemporary art created and reported, the access to places for exhibitions and even the processes of communication beyond the exhibition place. Museology deeps the research and reflection on the mediation between art work and visitors and places, preparing accounts and proposing ways to access knowledge through exhibitions.Given the expanded concept of Museum and flexibility of contemporary museological institutions, and the questions posed by the artists and their works, which require new forms of exposure, working from a local reality, to contribute to the understanding of the phenomena that shape the contemporary art scene

  As instituições dedicadas às funções museológicas ou expositivas, bem como todo o sistema cultural, vem assistindo ao crescente interesse da sociedade contemporânea e do mercado no produto Exposição de Arte. Essa arte se apresenta e se difunde, alcança a almejada visibilidade na mídia e no circuito cultural na maior parte das vezes dentro das instituições, ainda que ocorram também em lugares alternativos ao cenário das artes. O presente trabalho propõe-se a uma reflexão sobre o papel das instituições ou lugares da arte neste quadro e tenta estabelecer as relações existentes entre o produto finais exposição, os valores simbólicos desejados e atribuídos, os artistas, as obras de arte contemporâneas criadas e comunicadas, o acesso aos lugares expositivos e ainda os processos de comunicação além do lugar expositivo. A museologia aprofunda pesquisas e reflexões sobre a mediação entre obra e público e os lugares onde acontecem as relações, elaborando as narrativas e propondo formas de acesso ao conhecimento através das exposições. Diante do conceito expandido de Museu e da flexibilidade das instituições museológicas contemporâneas, e das questões propostas pelos artistas e suas obras, que exigem novas formas de exposição, trabalhando a partir de uma realidade local, pretende-se contribuir com a compreensão dos fenômenos que configuram a cena da arte contemporânea.
