  • Resumen
    • The instructional design described in this article, the Construct Lesson Plan, is the result of five years of research, development, and evaluation. It is currently being used in two major courses offered by The American College and is planned for use in several other courses. The Construct Lesson Plan is a system for organising and implementing group/classroom instruction. With its own built‐in validation instruments, the primary intent is to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of group instruction. It accomplishes these ends by accounting for and following through on the preparatory study of students and as a result also enhances the completion of preparatory study itself. The essential components of the Construct Lesson Plan approach include a Diagnostic Pre‐Test, a set of Lesson Plan Cards, and a Content Outline.
