  • Resumen
    • The use of files of offprints, original materials and small publications, as packs from which students can learn and study, has increased considerably in recent years. In this investigation information was collected to answer the following questions: (1) Who uses the material and when? (2) How are the materials used and where? (3) How do the materials relate to the student's course and assessment? (4) What is the main purpose of the material? The methods used include observation, questionnaires, free response, individual and group interviews. Over 150 students were involved in the data collection. The responses are reported along with suggestions for improving the system in use.
