  • Resumen
    • This contribution tries to determine the influence of climate in the magnetic signal assuming that it is a first order factor in soil formation. Also, it aims to assess the degree of variability of the magnetic signal at different geomorphological positions. The magnetic signal is opposite in both areas. Two important facts must be taken into account. The generation of SP particles seems to be higherin one of the areas. And the loss of detrital magnetite could be higher in the less drained soils, inagreement with the hypothesis of loss of detrital magnetite by reductive process. As a simplified interpretation, it is possible to suggest the differential soil humidity in the studied soils couldex plain the different generation of SP particles on them. On the other hand, when it is possible to see the magnitude of the loss of detrital magnetite, the degree of drainage seems to be the variable that manages the process of reduction loss.
