Resumen
- The Aliaga Geopark is a natural laboratory placed within an exceptional landscape at the IberianChain. Several European universities use this area every year for teaching geology. At the sametime, it constitutes an important piece of geological heritage which has been promoted for culturaland touristic purposes and makes a part of the European Geoparks network. "Exploramos el Parque Geológico de Aliaga" is a didactic folder for Secondary School level which includes a guidefor teachers, four small notebooks for student fieldwork and a multimedia CD-Rom. The contentsare organized into four units dealing with (1) sedimentary rocks in alluvial fan and lacustrine environments, (2) paleogeographic changes along Cretaceous times, (3) fold mapping, and (4) landscape and human impacts. The CD-Rom contains general information on the topics studied in eachunit, virtual itineraries and interactive questions.
