Resumen de Residencia de mayores: antes, durante y después de la COVID-19

  Esta pandemia de la COVID-19 ha castigado de una forma especial a las residencias de mayores, centrando en ellas la gran mortalidad de esta crisis. Analizaremos en este artículo la realidad de estas residencias, antes de la crisis, sus condiciones durante esta crisis para afrontar las mismas y haremos algunas propuestas de futuro sobre cómo creemos se deberían estructurar las mismas, formando parte integral de nuestro sistema de atención a la salud, definiendo claramente sus objetivos, límites y responsabilidades.

  COVID-19 pandemic has punished residences for the elderly in a special way, focusing on them the great mortality of this crisis.We will analyze in this article the reality of these residences for the elderly, before the pandemic, their conditions during this crisis to face it and we will make some future proposals on how we believe they should be structured, as an integral part of our health care system, clearly defining its objectives, limits and responsibilities.
