    La descentralización educativa en España presenta un balance de éxito y eficiencia que tiene ante sí nuevos desafíos y mejoras institucionales en el inmediato futuro. El cuerpo normativo establece un sistema educativo único con variaciones y singularidades autonómicas en la gestión y funcionamiento, pero manteniendo un marco de cohesión y cooperación en la gobernanza del sistema que ha permitido avanzar en resultados y una mejor convergencia territorial.
