Resumen de Vom Sprechen der Bilder: Variationen visueller Wahrnehmung bei Joan Brossa

  Approaching the works of Joan Brossa from an intermedial perspective, this essay seeks to examine his written experiments within the context of pictorial manifestations and thus intends to draw attention to his almost paradoxical engagement in the mediality of images. Starting out from his poesia visual i objecte, this essay wants to read individual examples as études of visual and written phenomena, as reflected compositions, which also find a paradigmatic expression in the theatre play Concert irregular per a pianista i cantatriu. These diverse border-crossings between image and text are not only relevant with regard to the aesthetics of image and language, but they also seem to question the very nature and character of such distinctions. In drawing attention to the revolving exchange of text and image, the works of Joan Brossa may be understood as an amusing divertimento, which starts again and again in order to reflect on the diversity of these borderzones.

  Aquest estudi pretén apropar-se a l’obra de Joan Brossa des d’una perspectiva interdisciplinària per tal d’examinar el experiments textuals compresos en les seves manifestacions pictòriques, i així destacar el seu compromís gairebé paradoxal per les imatges mediàtiques. Començant per la seva poesia visual i objecte, l’estudi vol considerar exemples concrets com a études de fenòmens visuals i textuals, composicions reflexives que també troben la seva expressió paradigmàtica a l’obra teatral Concert irregular per a pianista i cantatriu. Aquests encreuaments diversos entre imatge i text no són tan sols rellevants per l’estètica de la imatge i el llenguatge, sinó que també semblen qüestionar l’essència i el caràcter de tals distincions. Si centrem la nostra atenció en l’intercanvi entre text i imatge que en resulta, les obres de Joan Brossa es poden entendre com un divertimento entretingut que arrenca una i altra vegada per fer-nos veure la diversitat d’aquestes zones frontereres.
