    Con la llegada de la domesticación aparecen nuevas formas de relación del hombre con los animales. A través de la arqueozoología podemos llegar a conocer los animales que convivían con el hombre y su posible interacción; combinándolo con estudios de paleopatología animal podemos incluso llegar a conocer los cuidados que recibían.

    Se expone aquí el caso del poblado de Kutzemendi, Olárizu (Álava) donde se localizaron en niveles que van desde el Bronce Final-Hierro I a la IIª Edad del Hierro varios restos de fauna entre los que se encuentran los de un perro con una grave fractura, intentando establecer la posible relación de este animal con su entorno así como una propuesta de la raza a la que podría pertenecer.

    With the arrival of the taming, new relationship ways between mankind and animals appear. Through the archaeozoology, we may get to know the animals that lived with mankind, and its possible interaction. Even more, working with animal paleopatology studies, we can also know the kind of cares they got.

    Here, it is set out the case of the settlement of Kutzemendi, Olarizu (Alava), where there were located in levels that go from the Final Bronze Age to the II.nd Iron Age, several fauna remains, in which were found, the ones of a dog with a serious disease, proposing/suggesting the possible relation of this animal with its environment, as well as a proposal of the race that it may belong to.

    Remen, Olarizun (Araba) kokatuta dagoen Kutzemendi herrixkaren kasua azaltzen da. Bertan, Brontze Aro Bukaeratik- II.Burdin Arora doazen mailetan hainbat fauna hondakin aurkitu ziren. Hauen artean, gaixotasun larri bat zuen txakur batenak topatu, eta hauen bitartez, animalia honek bere ingurunearekin eduki zezakeen erlazioa eta zein arrazakoa izan zitekeen proposatu daiteke.
