    El propósito principal de este artículo consiste en tratar de analizar la estrategia comunicativa que emprendió el diario español ABC para informar sobre la realidad del movimiento estudiantil mexicano de 1968. Esta experiencia se inserta en la lógica contestataria global que durante ese año convulsionó al mundo. Se caracterizó por su profundo rechazo al gobierno autoritario de Díaz Ordaz, planteando la génesis de un proceso que pretendía transformar la vida política del país. Partiendo de la línea editorial del diario, conservadora y fuertemente vinculada al discurso oficialista del franquismo, pretendemos visibilizar cuales fueron los principales enfoques comunicativos que se utilizaron para narrar las jornadas de agitación estudiantil en México.

    The main purpose of this article is to try to analyze the communication strategy that the Spanish newspaper ABC undertook to report on the reality of the Mexican student movement of 1968. This experience is inserted into the global protest logic during that year shook the world. It was characterized by its deep rejection of the authoritarian government of Díaz Ordaz, raising the genesis of a process that sought to transform the political life of the country. Starting from the editorial line of the conservative newspaper and strongly linked to the official Francoist discourse, we intended to make visible what were the main communicative approaches used to narrate the days of student agitation in Mexico.
