    Los hechos sociopolíticos y artísticos ocurridos en Arantzazu durante el período de reforma de la Basílica como escenario contextual para abordar la necesidad de hacer y pensar el paisaje. La idea de paisaje no trata de ser definida aquí, sino de desarrollarse a partir de la acción y materialización del pensamiento que viene dada por la obra de arte. Abriendo un intervalo de tiempo de unos 100 años en la Historia del Arte, no necesariamente de manera lineal, se pretende posicionar al lector ante las constantes generadas por el naturalismo a lo largo del s. XX como moddo de acercamiento del ser humano a la naturaleza.

    The socio-political and artistic events that took place in Arantzazu during the period of reform of the Basilica serve as a contextual scenario to address the need to make and think about the landscape. The idea of landscape does not try to be defined here, but to develop frmo the action and materialization of the thought that is given by the work of art. Opening a time interval of about 100 years in the history of art, not necessarily in a linear manner, it is intended to position the reader facing the constants generated by naturalism throughout the twentieth century as a way of approach of the human being to nature.

    Arantzazu-n Basilikako erreforma aldian gertatutako jazoera soziopolitiko eta artistikoek testuinguruaren agertoki bezala balio dute pasaia egiteko eta pentsatzeko beharrari ekiteko. Paisaiaren ideai definitzea ez da hemengo asmoa, artelanetik etortzen diren paisaia pentsamenduaren akzioa eta materializazioa gauzatzea baizik. 100 urteko denbora tarte bata irekitzen da, lineala izatea beharrezkoa ez dena. Hortik kokatua, irakurlea XX. mendeko naturalismoak garatutako konstanteen aurrean posizionatzea nahi da naturarako gizakiaren hurbitze modu bezala.
