    En el presente artículo, analizaremos la figura del secretario administrativo del tribunal arbitral. Trataremos de ser ambiciosos en el estudio de la misma, sin limitarnos a las funciones que los reglamentos, la práctica habitual y la doctrina asignan a esta institución arbitral, para adentrarnos en la relevancia real de la misma en la conducción y resolución del procedimiento, el tradicional debate relativo a la limitación de sus funciones, así como en la dimensión académica y formativa de una nueva generación de árbitros que, sin duda, ostenta la institución del secretario administrativo.

    In this article, we will analyse the figure of the administrative secretary of the arbitration tribunal. We will try to be ambitious in our study of this figure, without limiting ourselves to the functions that the rules, the usual practice and the doctrine assign to this arbitration institution, in order to enter into the real relevance of this figure in the conduct and resolution of the procedure, the traditional debate regarding the limitation of its functions, as well as the academic and training dimension of a new generation of arbitrators that, without a doubt, holds the institution of the administrative secretary.
