    El presente trabajo tiene por objeto reflexionar acerca de las consecuencias que la reciente Sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional alemán de 5 de mayo de 2020 puede llegar a provocar en el seno de la Eurozona. Dicho pronunciamiento no solo pone en cuestión las políticas monetarias del BCE (y el papel del TJUE como garante del Derecho Comunitario originario), sino que afecta y puede llegar a poner en riesgo la estabilidad presupuestaria y sostenibilidad financiera de la Zona Euro, fundamentada en el Pacto de Estabilidad y Crecimiento.

    The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the consequences that the recent Judgment of the German Constitutional Court of May 5, 2020 may cause within the Eurozone. This pronouncement not only calls into question the ECB's monetary policies (and the role of the CJEU as guarantor of the original Community Law), but also affects and may put at risk the budgetary stability and financial sustainability of the Euro Zone, based on the Stability and Growth Pact.
