Resumen de El lenguaje sexista en las relaciones interpersonales: Un estudio sobre la comunicación lingüística en la universidad de Málaga

En este proyecto se pretende analizar las percepciones del alumnado universitario malagueño en torno al uso del lenguaje. Su correcto uso constituye un elemento importante para el desarrollo de la igualdad de género. Cuestionamos que en la docencia universitaria, el lenguaje esté exento de carga sexista, imperando más en unas ramas de conocimiento que en otras e incluso perpetuándose en algunas en concreto. Para ello, se analizará por un lado, el grado de importancia que se le da en las diferentes ramas de conocimiento y por otro, la identificación de manifestaciones sexistas en expresiones de uso cotidiano, así como las barreras para un uso no sexista del lenguaje. La metodología empleada se basa en la cuestionario y entrevista.
Participan en la investigación diferentes grupos de distintas titulaciones de la comunidad académica pertenecientes a la Universidad de Málaga, nos centraremos principalmente en el alumnado, aunque por supuesto también será evaluado el profesorado. Tras el análisis pretendemos reflejar la realidad universitaria, ya que por su misión educativa y socializadora conforma un espacio central de actuación y por consiguiente ser referente en el empleo del lenguaje, en aras de la inclusión e igualdad social.

In this project is an attempt to analyze the perceptions of the Malaga University students around the use of the language. Its correct use is an important element for the development of gender equality. We question in university teaching, the language is free of charge sexist, prevail more in some branches of knowledge than in others and even perpetuated in some in particular. To do this, it will be analyzed on the one hand, the degree of importance that is given in the different branches of knowledge, and on the other, the identification of sexist manifestations in expressions for everyday use, as well as the barriers for non-sexist use of language. The methodology used is based on the survey and interview. Participate in the different research groups of different degrees of the academic community belonging to the University of Málaga; we will focus primarily on the student body, although it will of course also be evaluated teachers. After the analysis we intend to reflect the university, since by their mission of education and socialization forms a central space of action and therefore be a reference in the use of language, for the sake of social inclusion and equality.
