  • Resumen
    • The Supported Self‐Study Project is a recent initiative of the Council for Educational Technology, which follows the investigations of the last few years into the ways in which educational technology might help schools to overcome some of the internal problems associated with falling rolls. The project is well‐timed: it addresses itself to practical problems of which schools are all too painfully aware; it is in tune with an established conviction within the schools that self‐development is a major goal of an education service; it comes at a time when valuable experience has already been acquired in higher and further education, as well as in a number of schools. The main outcomes of the project will be guidelines prepared for both practitioners and decision‐makers.
