Contemplar el misterio del sufrimiento es el inicio del encuentro con el misterio del hombre manifestada en la unión hipostática y ofrecida en la Cruz a todas las generaciones. Es este sufrimiento habitado el que hace de Edith Stein la mujer abandonada a la gracia y ofrecida hasta el extremo en el martirio. La Teología Fundamental se convierte en testigo e instrumento de este encuentro solícito entre Dios y el hombre cuya clara hermenéutica es la humillación de Cristo.

Contemplating the mystery of suffering is the beginning of the encounter with the mystery of man manifested in the hypostatic union and offered on the Cross to all generations. It is this inhabited suffering that makes Edith Stein the woman abandoned to grace and offered to the extreme in martyrdom. The Fundamental Theology becomes a witness and instrument of this attentive encounter between God and man, whose clear hermeneutic is the humiliation of Christ.
