    The authorssuggest a tentativerestoration of thisfragmentary decree,assuming that theCouncil and the People of Tomis decided to honour Timaios, son of Straton, the man who also purchased the priesthood of the Samothracian Gods. They also suggest that both texts were inscribed at the same time, around 100 BC.
