  • Resumen
    • For a variety of reasons industry and commerce are willing to assist education in developing in the school population an understanding of their aims, methods, conditions of work and technological advances. While several systems have evolved which give teachers and their pupils direct access to both industry and commerce, there is a limit to the number of people that can be accommodated. An indirect method of acquiring this knowledge is recommended which could act to complement the present systems. The technique involves the classroom use of multi‐media resource packs. An elementary model is described for their production that requires active co‐operation between experienced practitioners from industry, commerce and education. Appended are several case studies which record the origination and/or evaluation of certain packs, and details of other resources that have been produced using this model.
