    Esta investigación describe la experiencia de Aprendizaje-Servicio vivida y desarrollada por los alumnos de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de León que cursaron la asignatura Religión católica y su pedagogía II en el curso 2018/2019.El proyecto tenía como fin que los alumnos adquirieran competencias curriculares referidas al conocimiento y valoración de la vivencia de la religiosidad en otras generaciones y culturas, al mismo tiempo que prestaban un servicio a la comunidad acompañando a personas que vivían en soledad.Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto que esta experiencia de ApS ha resultado en el campo académico como altamente estimulante y adecuada para su formación, en lo personal les ha permitido mejorar sus habilidades sociales y comunicativas, y en el ámbito social les ha proporcionado una oportunidad para trabajar en contextos de diversidad

    The research describes the experience of Service-learning lived and developed by the students of the Faculty of Education in the University of León, who took the subject of Catholic Religion and its Pedagogy in the year 2018/2019.The project had as main goal the students to acquire the curricular competences referred to the knowledge and value of the living of religion in other generations and cultures. Meanwhile, the forementioned project was initially conceived to provide a service to the community, in order to accompany people living in solitude. The results achieved bring to light that the experience of Service-learning has resulted to be, in the academic field, really exciting and accurate when it comes to their education. What is more, in the personal field, they have significantly improved their social and communicative abilities. Finally, in the social field, they have successfully gone through an opportunity to work in diversity context.
