    Las relaciones entre el Imperio de Carlos V y el mundo escandinavo no han encontrado un eco excesivo en la historiografía española. Este vacío no deja de resultar sorprendente habida cuenta de los estrechos lazos familiares que llegaron a unir a varios de los protagonistas, como Cristián II de Dinamarca y el propio emperador, y de la evolución de los acontecimientos políticos y religiosos en la región nórdica. El presente trabajo examina las relaciones entre la Corona de Dinamarca-Noruega y los territorios vinculados al Imperio de Carlos V durante el convulso reinado de Cristián II (1513-1523), a la postre, el último monarca de esa inestable federación que fue la Unión de Kalmar.

    The relationships between the Empire of Carlos V and the Scandinavian world have not found an excessive echo within the Spanish historiography. This gap is still surprising given the close family bounds that connected different protagonists, such as Cristián II from Denmark and the emperor himself, and the evolution of the political and religious occurrences in the Nordic region. The present work examines the relationships between the Crown of Denmark-Norway and the territories linked to the Empire of Carlos V during the agitated reign of Cristián II (1513-1523), in the end, the last monarch of this unstable federation that was the Kalmar Union.
