Resumen de Operárias da sogantal em luta: uma análise crítica à historiografia portuguesa no debate sobre gênero

This article aims to bring to the debate the (non) use of the analytical category “gender” in the portuguese academy, trying to problematize the historiographical choices in this context. To this end, the case of workers of the textile company Sogantal will be used as an object of analysis, seeking to demonstrate the importance and need to fit certain concepts in the construction of social history. Methodologically, a debate on the state of the art related to the theme will be used, as well as the relationship of institutional sources and workers 'newspapers in the theorization about the workers' struggle of the referred company. We will seek to bring portuguese historiography closer to the brazilian academy, a relationship still little developed in the field of contemporary history, but especially in the history of women.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo trazer para o debate a (não) utilização da categoria analítica “gênero” na academia portuguesa, procurando problematizar as escolhas historiográficas nesse âmbito. Para tanto, selecionamos como objeto de análise o caso das operárias da empresa têxtil Sogantal, buscando demonstrar a importância e a necessidade de se enquadrar determinados conceitos na construção da história social. Metodologicamente, mobilizaremos um debate sobre o estado da arte relacionado ao tema, bem como a relação de fontes institucionais e de jornais operários na teorização sobre a luta das operárias da empresa referida. Buscar-se-á aproximar a historiografia portuguesa e a academia brasileira, relação ainda pouco desenvolvida no campo da história contemporânea, mas, sobretudo, na história sobre mulheres.
