    D. Ángel Temiño Sainz quiere que sus sacerdotes sean hombres de oración. Verdaderos catequistas y evangelizadores en el mundo de hoy. La oración y los Ejercicios Espirituales son para los sacerdotes los medios fundamentales para caminar hacia la santidad. Los sacerdotes han de actualizarse y ponerse al día en la doctrina del concilio Vaticano II, que quiere que los sacerdotes sean testigos del evangelio para nuestras gentes. La caridad pastoral debe ser el alma de su sacerdocio. La Eucaristía define la esencia del sacerdocio ministerial que se distingue esencialmente del sacerdocio común de los fieles. La preparación del sacerdote ha de ser exigente para estudiar y comprender las distintas corrientes de pensamiento moderno.
