  • Learning can be defined as a change in behaviour which helps the learner. Training is planned learning. Training technology provides the mechanism for planning, conducting and evaluating planned learning. Seven component functions within the field of training technology are identified, and one method of presenting these functions and component skills is illustrated. In addition, reference is made to how trainers are trained to work in this field.
