  • Resumen
    • The variety and number of courses and educational materials designed for the elderly is on the increase. Yet, learning among older adults has received comparatively little research attention. Most learning research has been carried out with young learners and it is not clear to what extent its findings can be generalized regarding older adult learning. This article reviews current findings of empirical research on older adult learning, notes key differences in how older adults and young people learn, and suggests strategies which could be used to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of instruction designed for the elderly.
